I wish I could take credit for the recipes but they came mostly from Food & Wine Magazine’s Quick From Scratch Italian Cookbook.
Menu:
Carrots with pine nuts and basil
White-bean and prosciutto bruschetta
Lentil soup with tubetti and bacon
Roman style chicken with bell peppers, capers, and prosciutto
Roast potatoes (ok, those came from a frozen bag)
Limoncello
Not to mention the sampling of various Prosecco and white wines.
Molly and Jake,
ReplyDeleteI am SO enjoying your blog. However, I feel so humbled. Did you make all
this for one meal? I made the recipe you gave your mom for salmon with warm black bean salad and it was great! I love your writing and your culinary expertise.
Auntie Tripp
Wonderful menu! Sounds delicious. Love that apron!! By the way, it says there is a "Agriturismo 2" entry on your blog but it seems to have vanished! It was fun skyping!
ReplyDeleteHi Auntie Tripp! Yup, it was one meal....I just really needed a project one day so I came up with the menu and spent the day cooking. It was such a blast! We had one of Jake's friends over that night for dinner and I am pretty sure he now thinks that I am a crazy person.....
